General information, not advice

Bolt & Vault publishes general information about gun safes, home safes, safe ratings and safe storage. It is not legal advice, security-engineering advice or a guarantee that any product will stop a specific burglary, fire or unauthorized person. Laws on firearm storage differ by state and change; check your state's official sources or an attorney. Follow the manufacturer's installation and operating instructions for any product you buy, including its anchoring instructions.

Accuracy and changes

We work hard to keep ratings, specifications and model numbers accurate, and every figure links to its source. Manufacturers update models, listings and specs often, though, and we can make mistakes. Check the retailer or maker before you buy. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll correct it.

Prices, availability and purchases

Prices and availability are set by the retailer and change often, which is why we don't print them. When you click a buy button you leave our site; any purchase is between you and that retailer, under its terms, shipping and return policies. We don't sell products and can't help with orders.
